Background: https://fireemblem.fandom.com/wiki/Seteth#Profile

Personality:
- Stern: What most people see of Seteth is his public persona. He strives to conduct himself with all the discipline and decorum required of an official representative of the Church of Seiros. Formal, proper, and strict, Seteth works tirelessly to maintain order in his monastery, and upstanding conduct in both its students and its staff. Part of that work inevitably ends up being scolding and lectures, especially when the offender is an adult who should by all rights know better by now. The standards he expects people to meet are high--but if anything, those he holds himself to are even higher still. How can he expect anyone to learn, if he isn't capable of leading and teaching by example?

- Reticent: This stringent professionalism helps Seteth keep others at a safe distance. For all that he's prepared to lecture at a moment's notice, Seteth is a quiet, private man, typically reluctant to share his personal thoughts and feelings, or details about his life. Centuries of fear and paranoia from concealing his identity have left him wary of opening up to or becoming too close to anyone in any meaningful capacity, for fear it will jeopardize the safe, peaceful life he's built for himself and Flayn. He prefers to relate to people only in a professional capacity--that of a teacher, spiritual guide, or simple adviser and administrator.

- Devoted: That said, his roles aren't only something to hide behind. His work is his life, and his life is his work. As a creature literally created to serve, Seteth devotes himself fully to the work he undertakes and the people he does it for; stories of his lifetime as a saint describe his faith as powerful enough to allow him to work miracles. He's a shining example of Lawful Good--he wants to do the right thing, and he respects the rules, authority, and judgment of those in superior positions of power to guide him in how to do so. Although he may have personal doubts and disagreements with them, he still defers to their wishes unless he genuinely believes doing so wouldn't serve the greater good. His loyalty to the causes and people he accepts as his own are nearly unshakeable--as long as none of them come before Flayn's safety and happiness, of course.

- Compassionate: Beneath that stiff, aloof front and tendency towards workaholicism though, Seteth is a man who feels deeply and intensely, who is forced to actively smother that passion with all the discipline he's so painstakingly cultivated. Towards his allies and students, he is empathetic and caring, often trying to offer them wisdom and perspective, encourage them to realize their full potential, or help talk them through problems to find a resolution they can be genuinely happy with--and if the situation is dire enough, is even willing to recklessly risk his own life to protect them. Flayn is the one person who knows just how deeply he loves and cares, often to her dismay; while he makes efforts to take care of others, he absolutely dotes on her, and is overprotective to the point of constantly meddling in her affairs. For her, (and anyone else he comes to love wholeheartedly) he has a difficult time denying her anything.

- Hypocritical: Ultimately, Seteth is incredibly hypocritical, though not in the traditional religious sense. Too afraid to live and love openly anymore after the tragedy that wiped out most of his people, Seteth has frozen himself into a pale, strained shadow of the man he used to be. He locks himself away from truly connecting with the people he wants so badly to care about and protect, urging them towards happiness and fulfillment while not daring to reach for it himself. In the end, he's grown unbalanced, fixated on giving and caretaking without allowing anyone else the opportunity to reciprocate in turn.

Powers: His wiki page has a nice crunchy breakdown of stats, skills, and abilities, so I'll be general here.

- Skilled warrior: Seteth has had hundreds of years to hone his military talents, including weapon handling, tactics, and riding flying mounts.

- Skilled teacher: Seteth is both a military instructor and a spiritual guide. He's knowledgeable enough about several weapons, flying combat, and military tactics and leadership to tutor others in the disciplines.

- Bureaucratic Bullshit: Seteth has practically been singlehandedly running an entire monastery for 16 years, and has probably been an adviser and aide to important people for a lot longer than that. You couldn't ask for a better secretary or administrator.

- Crest Bullshit: Seteth possesses a Major Crest of Cichol, which can prevent enemy counter-attacks. Given the flavor text, I assume that means sometimes he attacks forcefully enough to knock someone off-balance, and force them to focus on recovering their footing instead of fighting back.

- Dragony Bullshit: Seteth is an Earth Dragon. When transformed, he probably has ridiculous boss-tier stats and abilities on par with his fellow saints: Rhea, Macuil, and Indech. He's currently unable to transform, but once he regains that ability, his power levels will be scaled down along with his size.
